We are happy to welcome the Jewish National Fund, e.V. – Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael (JNF-KKL) as strategic partner of the Israel Congress in 2013.
Founded in 1901, the world-wide active, non-profit organization continues working closely together with its donors on sustainable environmental projects in the Land of Israel. The small, hot and desert-rich country is in need of continued support in order to make the little land that there is as livable as possible for its inhabitants.
Donations to JNF-KKL goes into forestation projects and are used to construct water reservoirs, new parks, recreation facilities, hiking and running trails as well as bicycle paths. JNF-KKL also funds environmental education programmes and supports research and development in agriculture and de-desertfication.
During the Congress, participants will find JNF-KKL’s green oasis on Level B of the conference center. Information about the non-profit’s projects will be available. Also, qualified staff will be on-hand to answer questions and guide people through an exhibit. There will also be tombola - promising attractive prizes. www.jnf-kkl.de
