Moderator of the Political Lab panel "Lived Diversity: How do German and Israel handle the challenges of immigration?

Dr. Nirm Boms is not only a researcher; he is also an active initiator.
He co-founded the “CyberDissidents.org” network of bloggers from the Middle East that focuses on freedom of expression and the promotion of dialogue in that region. Until 2004, he served as Vice President of the Washington based Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (FDD). Prior to that, he worked as an instructor for the Israeli Embassy in Washington as academic liaison, serving as an educator, specialist and guest lecturer on Israeli and Middle Eastern affairs.

Currently, Dr. Boms is research fellow at the Moshe Dayan Center at Tel Aviv University and member of the board of the Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education.
